Hannah Bristow
RP/Leicester/Characters. Young versatile girl about town.
Hannah is originally from Leicester, and speaks with regular RP, which she can raise 'Hi' or go more contemporary-edgy, from voice ages in teens to 30s. She's also a highly experienced character-actress, primarily through audiobook, audio/radio drama, and stage work.

Her recent theatre credits include Amiens in As You Like It (RSC), Robert in Five Children and It (The Egg, Theatre Royal Bath),Francesca in Napoli, Brooklyn (Park Theatre / UK tour) and Helen Burns / Adele in Jane Eyre (National Theatre / UK tour). Others include Narrator in Antisemitism: A (((musical))) (CPT), Sarah in Starling (HighTide), Hero in Much Ado About Nothing (Tobacco Factory), Faith in Kindertransport (Queens Theatre / Theatre de la Ville, Luxembourg), G in Europeana (RSC), Benvolio in Romeo And Juliet (Southwark Playhouse / Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre),Hecuba in The Trojan Women (Bristol Old Vic), and Mrs Betterton in Playhouse Creatures (Tobacco Factory). Her full stage credit list is really quite enormous for such a young talent. Preceding this she trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School (2016 grad), where she won the Newton Blick Award for Most Versatile Actor.
On screen, she can currently be seen as Betje in A Small Light (Disney+) and as Yatzin in The Man Who Fell to Earth (Paramount+). She has also appeared in a number of shorts, including as Ella in Aklespian (2022), Nina in Tess and Nina (2022), Poppy in Lady Killers (2020) and Mattie in Mattie And Kevin (2018). You might have also caught her as an art student (lead) in a Plymouth College Of Art TVC (see the video clip in the media section on this page!).
Voice work to date includes a number of radio plays, she played the lead Budgie in the awards-nominated podcast Flock and can be heard as a carol singer on Complicité’s Christmas production of The Dark is Rising on BBC Radion 4. She also played Sam in A Passion Play (45 North - which won a 5 Star review from The Stage!), Joanna in The Recital (Anchor), and Mary / Alicia / Lucy in Lady Audley's Secret (Ep 6-10, BOVTS). Her character voicing also extends to audiobooks, including Alice In Wonderland and Quartet (see her clips section on this page), and even at drama school, she voiced a number of animal characters for a docu-comedy-spoof production (along the lines of Aardman's Creature Comforts). She's also voiced a corporate piece for SafeInDance (voicing training documents for a dance company). More recently she voiced poetry extracts in a podcast for The Ashmolean Museum, in 'Michelangelo And Monsters' (click here to listen - she's at 04:51 & 12:57 as it progresses). Despite early stages in the more traditional VO areas, we feel she's ideal for character animation, games and audiobooks, among others, her recently updated character and animation reel can be found on this page.
Outside of her VO and acting work, she sings (mezzo-soprano, range F3 to A5), and she's also something of a musician, playing piano, clarinet and guitar.
