Larissa Kouznetsova
RUSSIAN. Experienced actress and voice artist.
Larissa was trained in GITIS, Moscow and Ecole Philippe Gaulier, London. She has since worked extensively in Russian and English, where her smokey Eastern European voice has been used in many films, TV and radio programs, corporate videos and commercials (of course for vodka!).
Her films include Kings Cross's, Palata N6, Master Of Darkness, Escape, Chxllseeker, Dead On Time and Anna Karenina. On TV she's appeared in Holby City, Clinic, Situation Critical, Life Force, The Bill, Casualty and Noel's House. On stage she has been in a number of productions including Nets & Snares (The Pushkin House), Red Cabbage Cafe (The Round House), Gladness (Turtle Key Arts Centre), and Master & Margarita (Moscow Theatre). Larissa also has wide experience in radio plays, performing several on BBC Radio 3 & 4.
Larissa has also performed in numerous radio plays on BBC Radio 4 and BBC World Service Radio - plays include Development, Angel, The Coolbag Baby, Picture A Play, Forty-Three Fifty-Nine, Ariel, The Archers, Radio Daze, Westway, Rebrov, Laughter In Leningrad, and Giles Wembley Hogg Goes Off.
Her voice work includes promos and continuity for Film Four, Five, Nickelodeon, Animal Planet, The SciFi Channel and the Headfuck series, and she was the Russian voice for Hallmark Channel and Discovery Channel in Russia. Her commercials include campaigns for Coca-Cola, Nike, Clarks Shoes, Pantene Pro-V, Hä-Dazs, Motorola, Tampax, Metz, Nissan, Frutopia, Huggies, Nesquick and Smirnoff Black Ice, and she's voiced corporate pieces for Ford, Emirates, Du Pont, Cisco Systems, Boots, British Airways, BP, Visa, TNT, Smith-Kline Beecham, Sony, Kodak, Guinness and Addidas. She has also presented at a number of trade shows for clients including HP, ICM, Opel and Omega Cars.
Her documentary narrations include those for Panorama, The Mysteries with Carol Vorderman, The Boy Who Gave Birth To His Twin, and The Second World War in Colour. Her ADR/dubbing experience covers numerous commercials, corporate and educational films, as well as movies including Anna Karenina, Dr Zhivago, Goldeneye, Enemy At The Gates, Quick Sand and Crime And Punishment.
She has also recorded lots of characters for games such as Half Life 2, Halcyon, Shadowman, Team Alligator, Pizza2 Connection and Wipeout. Her other multimedia jobs have been for Johnson & Johnson, BBC Worldwide Talk ... Russian, Berlitz Russian Phrase Book, Lingua Phone Russian Course, and Audio Guide Tour Of London. Larissa is good at kids too.
