Azucena Duran
SPANISH. Experienced Castilian actress with a talent for character voices.
Azucena trained at the London Drama Studio, Mountview Drama School, the Theatre de Complicite, and The Actor's Centre.
Her film credits include Wimbledon with Paul Bettany and Kirsten Dunst, Darkhunters with Dominic Pignon, Misunderstood, Judge's Silence, Diagnosis, The Sea and Gasman. On TV she has been a regular in a number of Spanish TV series, including one that is the Spanish equivalent of Doc Martin.
She has recorded a number of radio plays for including The Laughter Of Stafford Girls' High (BBC Radio 4) with Joanna Lumley, Siobhan Redmond and Emily Woof, Andalus (BBC Radio 3), The Sun Was Shining, and Rafael Sanchez Recounts - Once Upon A Time In The West, performing with Douglas Hodge, Sean Barret and Margaret Robertson.
Her voice work includes commercials for Magnum Ecuador Dark, Vauxhall, Dell, Haagen-Daz, Nortel Network, I-Zone cameras, Orange, and Jaguar. She has voiced numerous characters in games such as Half Life 1 & 2, Tetris, Real Men, Spiro The Dragon 2 & 3, Ape Scape, The Grinch, Might & Magic and FAKK.
Other voice work includes ADR/dubbing for numerous feature films for leading Spanish TV channels, audioguides for museums all around the world, including the Guggenheim in Bilbao, documentaries for ITN for Spain and England, and corporate pieces for IBM.
