LONDON / CARIBBEAN. A Carnival of deep sound from Black London to rhythmic Jamaica!

Al is a skilled voice artist with experience in most major fields, including commercials, continuity, promos, corporates and talking books.  His accents range from the multitudinous flavours of Black London, to his roots in Jamaica, and generic African.  His deliveries vary from loud, lively and upbeat, to mellifluous, soothing and sensual! 

His recent VO clients include commercial for The Metropolitan Police, McDonalds, Bacardi, Malibu, Taboo, eBay, Telstar Records, numerous nightclubs and Caledonian MacBrayne Ferries!  He has voiced continuity for Channel 4 and various promos for the BBC (e.g. Campaign for Jamaican Independence on BBC1, BBC2 and BBC Radio) and National Geographic Channel (promoting Jamaican Tourism). 

He has recorded a number of talking books covering language transcription, and various short tales including Children's Stories for the Blind.  His corporate recordings include those for 18/30 Holidays, One2One, American Express, Pioneer Electronics, and Tracker (Stolen Vehicle Recovery Systems 2004/5 presentation video).

Outside of VOs, Al is a qualified hypnotherapist (since 2005) - indeed you might have seen him do this in a Thinkbox TV commercial (see his video clip on this page).  In addition he's a busy night club DJ, and a teacher of DJs.  Indeed, he was the Dj for Ashley Cole and Cheryl Tweedy's celebrity wedding!  He also compé at fashion shows, award ceremonies and sporting events, and is used as the Voice Of God (announcer) at corporate functions.
